How much is the NJ bus fare?
NJ TRANSIT bus fares are based on the number of zones traveled between your origin and destination. The fare for a one-zone intrastate trip is $1.50 ($. 70 for seniors/persons with disabilities/children).
Is NJ TRANSIT bus free?
Travel on NJ TRANSIT is not free. We are encouraging customers to purchase their tickets on the mobile app or at any Ticket Vending Machine.
Can you drink on NJ Transit train?
Eating and drinking is permitted aboard trains, but not aboard buses or light rail vehicles. If you choose to eat or drink aboard the train, please be considerate of your fellow passengers and remember to take all trash with you when you disembark.
Do NJ buses run all night?
The service is offered every night except Saturdays, when full River LINE service operates until midnight. The Pennsauken Park & Ride provides 452 free parking spaces and is conveniently located near several major highways, including Route 73, Route 130, the New Jersey Turnpike and I-295.
Do jersey buses take cash?
Bus Fares. A single journey ticket can be purchased in cash when you board the bus for adults and for children, which includes children between the ages of 5 and 15. Students attending school full time also pay this rate.
How much is Newark bus?
Please note that a $1 administrative fee will be added to each ticket sale. Adults: $30 Round Trip or $17 One Way. LGA Airport Connection: $29. (LaGuardia Passengers must buy tickets at the bus) not available online.

NJT trains have restrooms. Amtrak does have restrooms but tickets would be more expensive and not all Amtrak NYC-bound trains stop at Newark Liberty. PATH trains (from Newark Penn) do not have restrooms.
